The Boston Licensing Board this morning approved an emergency measure under which restaurants can put seating outside once the city lifts the ban on in-restaurant dining, to deal with new Covid-19 restrictions that will shrink their indoor seating capacity.

The board unanimously approved a pandemic-related regulation under which restaurants can apply for new outdoor seating once the city lifts the ban on in-restaurant dining. Joshua has been interested in the culinary world since his days of cooking with his great grandmother as a young child. His love of cooking led him to the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York where he was recognized with a leadership scholarship and graduated at the top of his class.
Over the past 15 years, he has opened multiple restaurants and cooked alongside many well-known chefs such as mentor Michel Richard, Sean Brock, Gabrielle Hamilton and Ashley Christensen. Joshua was previously the Chef at Short & Main in downtown Gloucester for the past five years. His love for cooking and passion for sourcing local ingredients brings a refreshing and exciting dynamic that we can’t wait to share with you at Talise!
Ariel, Joshua’s wife, and Sarah are sisters who share a love and passion for hosting. Sarah has worked in the service industry for many years, starting as a young teen.  She worked in and around Boston over the last decade, spending most of her service career between Eastern Standard in Kenmore Square and Neptune Oyster Bar in the North End.
Sarah introduced Ariel to the restaurant world where they shared their love for service, good food and wine. Ariel has spent the majority of her career at Neptune Oyster Bar (alongside Sarah and two of their OTHER sisters), and is ready and excited for this new opportunity to grow with the North Shore community.

Takeout Service Begins Thursday at Seaport Grille and 1606! Beauport Hospitality Group is happy to share that both Seaport Grille and 1606 at Beauport Hotel, will begin curbside takeout service starting Thursday, May 14th!

Starting off with $15 Lobster Roll Thursdays! We’ll begin offering takeout from 12-8pm, Thursday through Sunday of this week. We’ll then take a few days off, then we’ll begin DAILY TAKEOUT SERVICE Wednesday, May 20th – right up until we can reopen!
