Fundraiser for Open Door, Cape Ann Animal Aid and Reids Ride.

Tina Ketchopulos would have turned 69 this November 2nd. Tina touched, and continues to touch the hearts of many. We are celebrating Tina’s Legacy with a fundraiser in her name. Please join us!

The Celebration Includes:

  • Formal Japanese Tea Ceremony Demonstration (Tea Instructors from MIT)
  • A Celebration of Tina’s Life
  • 5O/5O Raffle
  • Raffle Items (Restaurants, Artwork, Reiki, Massage, Whale Watch and More!)
  • Afternoon Tea (soup, sandwiches and sweets)

Net proceeds will be donated Cape Ann Animal Aid, The Open Door, and Reid’s Ride …, in honor and memory of Tina. Additional donations can be made via check written to one of these three charities, with ‘Tea for Tina’ written in the memo. Raffle tickets may be purchased at the event.

No Refunds: If you purchase a ticket but are unable to attend, the money will be donated in your name to one of these three charities, in memory of Tina.

Note: If you cannot attend but wish to donate in Tina’s memory, contact us to make off-line, tax deductable donations to one of the three above mentioned charities.

One of my husbands’s oldest and nicest friends, Bob Vallis, has opened a fabulous pub in downtown Ipswich. Located at the former Zabaglione address, The Brown Dog serves the best of wonderfully fresh and hearty American cuisine/comfort food within a casually inviting and cozy atmosphere.

Gloucester residents may recall that Bob formerly owned the Blackburn Tavern. Chef Doug Papaws, also from Gloucester, is working his magic in the kitchen. I had without a doubt the best fried oysters I have ever had in my life.
