Ashley Silber, 27, of Peabody, MA was the lucky winner of Cruiseport Gloucester’s Wedding Giveaway! The Giveaway, worth $30,000, is comprised of donated products and services from local wedding vendors.

Ashley won the prize because she attended Cruiseport Gloucester’s Bridal Expo on January 31 and entered her name into a drawing. Over 1000 people attended the Expo to meet potential wedding vendors, sample food and cakes, enjoy a bridal show and take tours of both Cruiseport Gloucester and Beauport Princess Cruiselines.

“I was so excited when I won, I was literally shaking,” said Ashley. “This will help us so much in planning our wedding.”

The prize was made possible by the generous donations of local wedding vendors including Vinwood Caterers, 617 Weddings, Lisa Mancuso Photography, Celia’s Flower Studio, Cakes for Occasions, Bella Sera Bridal & Occasion, Black Tie Limousine, Beauport Hotel Gloucester and Cruiseport Gloucester.

Ashley’s wedding will take place at Cruiseport in March 2017.

“I can’t believe I won a huge contest like this, and it’s for real,” said Ashley. “I’ve been engaged since November and both of our families are so excited!”
