SAFETY will be back at The Cut for TWO Halloween shows – NOV 1ST & NOV 2ND!! This killer band, who slays all your favorites from the 1980’s ALWAYS sells out. So this time we doubled the fun. There are still some tickets available for each night – but they won’t last long!! Come put our GIANT dance floor to good use! Friday: Laura Cortese & The Dance Cards – The Cut 360 : In the Round Songwriter Series – There are limited tickets to this intimate show where the seats are arranged in a circle around the musicians. Thursday: Robert Ellis Orrall – An Evening of Songs & Stories(+ an after party with Funbucket!) – There are still tickets available for this incredible event. Robert Ellis Orrall will be performing songs and telling stories about his epic career in the music industry working with artists like Taylor Swift, Reba McEntire, Lindsay Lohan and Michael McDonald. Doors at 7pm, show at 7:30pm. Friday: A Night of Comedy with Steve Sweeney, Jay Martin and Kristy Kielbasinski – A perfect night to laugh! There are still tickets available for this show. Fiesta is almost here! Do you know where you’re celebrating? Start the party with Dueling Pianos on the stage Wednesday evening (6/26). Then we have Bikini Whale – A B-52’s Tribute, with Tsunami of Sound on Thursday night (6/27), a EDM DJ Dance Party on Friday night (6/28), and the Dubtone Orchestra Fiesta Party Saturday night (6/29). Make sure you get your tickets before they’re gone! We also have live music in “The Corner” at the front of the restaurant on Wednesday and Thursday night, as well as Saturday for brunch (no cover) – AND we’ll be streaming the Seine Boat Races and Greasy Pole on giant TVs Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The East Gloucester Elementary School PTO is raising funds to cover the costs associated with this year’s all school read The Trumpet of the Swan, so we decided to cover two categories that aren’t quite related, but fit the title: Music & Animals
Round One: A Murder of Crows and Other Collective Nouns Round Two: It Smells Like Flannel Round Three: Bats Turn Left + More Strange Animal Facts Round Four: A Bitter Sweet Symphony of 90’s Movie Soundtracks Bonus Round: Hey Hey, We’re The Monkeys (Yes, Bands with Animal Names)
This event is open to all, so come show off your trivia knowledge for a good cause. All funds raised + a portion of the food sales for the evening will be donated to the East Gloucester Elementary School PTO.
Warm up with some great food and hot jazz this Thursday at Feather & Wedge. The Scollins-Warsi jazz duo returns with Kevin Scollins on guitar and Sahil Warsi on double bass. Their set list includes selections from the Great American Song Book, modern jazz, contemporary blues and R&B.
